Crest doesn’t sit quietly against a wall. Fluted velvet channels rise into a soft, stepped crown, giving even a simple bed base a tailored, upholstered focal point that carries the whole room.

Vertical Channels, Hand-Finished

Nine vertical channels run the full height of the headboard, each hand-packed and stitched for a firm, even line from base to crown. The channels are cut slightly wider through the centre and narrower toward the outer edges, drawing the eye upward and giving Crest its tailored, sculptural shape rather than a flat, boxy front.

A Scalloped Crown

Where most headboards stop at a straight or gently curved edge, Crest steps up into a soft scalloped crown, echoing the line of each channel beneath it. It’s a small detail that reads as considered rather than decorative, giving the piece a quiet, architectural finish from across the room.

Premium Velvet, Made to Order

Every Crest headboard is hand-upholstered over a solid frame in premium velvet, finished to order rather than pulled from stock. It ships as pictured in Taupe, and is also made to order in Charcoal, Deep Emerald, Terracotta, Navy, Ivory, and Silver Grey — six tones chosen to sit comfortably with both warm and cool bedroom palettes.

Living With Crest

Crest is made to order in Double, Queen, and King, sized to fit standard South African bed bases — confirm exact base width with us before ordering if you’re matching an existing frame. Vacuum the velvet regularly with a soft brush attachment along the direction of the pile, blot spills immediately rather than rubbing, and keep the headboard out of direct, harsh sunlight to protect the colour over time.
