No shortcuts

Every ITAE piece starts as solid hardwood, not veneer or particleboard. We finish by hand, and we build to a standard that outlasts the reason you bought it. It takes longer than buying off a shelf. We think that's the point.

Heritage, not just furniture

At the centre of what we make are our Heritage Kists — chests built for lobola ceremonies and passed down as family pieces long after the ceremony ends. That's the standard we hold everything else to, from coffee tables to wardrobes. If it isn't solid enough to become a family heirloom, we don't make it.

Made to order

Every piece is built when you order it, not pulled from a warehouse shelf. That means we build what you actually asked for — sized, finished, and detailed your way — and it means no two pieces are ever quite identical.
