10-Year Frame Guarantee.

The structural frame of every ITAE piece is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 10 years from delivery.

What's covered for 10 years

The load-bearing joinery and solid hardwood body of your piece — kist bodies and lids, table frames and legs, cabinet carcasses, drawer chest frames. If a frame fails under normal residential use due to a workmanship defect, we'll repair or replace it.

Hardware & finish

Hinges, drawer runners, locks, and lid-stay mechanisms are covered for 2 years. Oil and wax finishes are covered for 1 year against application defects — day-to-day wear, sun exposure, and spills aren't covered, since finish is a maintenance item.

What's not covered

Solid hardwood moves. Minor gaps at joints, small seasonal cracking, and natural variation in grain and colour aren't defects — they're what real wood does, and part of why it lasts. Also not covered: damage from misuse, DIY repairs, extreme humidity or direct sun exposure, and commercial or rental use.

Making a claim

Contact us with your proof of purchase and photos of the issue. We'll assess and repair, replace, or refund at our discretion.
