A Headboard That Leans Into Angles

Wing trades straight vertical channels for a set of converging diagonal lines, fanning out from the lower corner across the full width of the piece. It’s the most graphic headboard in the range — a single motion across the fabric rather than a repeating pattern.

Angled Channels, Mitred by Hand

Each diagonal channel is cut and mitred by hand where it meets its neighbour, so the lines run true from edge to edge rather than breaking at the seams. It’s a harder cut than a standard vertical channel, and it shows in how cleanly the angles resolve at the top and base.

One Corner, Not a Repeating Chevron

Rather than mirroring the diagonals into a symmetrical chevron, Wing lets them fan from a single corner, with two short offset panels breaking up the far edge. It reads as considered and asymmetric rather than a stock zigzag pattern.

Premium Velvet, Made to Order

Every Wing headboard is hand-upholstered over a solid frame in premium velvet. It ships as pictured in Deep Emerald, and is also made to order in Taupe, Charcoal, Terracotta, Navy, Ivory, and Silver Grey.

Living With Wing

Wing is made to order in Double, Queen, and King, sized to fit standard South African bed bases — confirm exact base width with us before ordering if you’re matching an existing frame. Vacuum the velvet regularly with a soft brush attachment along the direction of the pile, blot spills immediately rather than rubbing, and keep the headboard out of direct, harsh sunlight to protect the colour over time.
