A Pedestal Standing Tall

Perch takes its name from the way it stands on four visibly splayed legs rather than a solid base, giving it a lighter, more upright stance than a boxier nightstand. It’s a quieter, mid-century-leaning shape that suits a room with a lot of straight lines already in it.

Two Drawers, Simple Handles

Both drawers are fitted with small, rectangular metal bar handles, understated against the plain grey front. It’s enough storage for everyday bedside items without adding unnecessary bulk to the piece.

Splayed, Tapered Legs

The four legs taper from a wider top to a narrower foot, angled outward in the classic mid-century stance. They lift the whole body well clear of the floor, giving Perch a lighter visual footprint than a plinth-based pedestal.

Soft Grey, Hand-Finished

The body is finished in a soft, even grey, applied in multiple coats for a smooth, consistent matte surface. The tapered legs are finished separately for a clean line where wood meets the painted body above.

Living With Perch

At 55cm wide, 40cm deep, and 55cm tall, Perch suits most beds as a bedside pedestal with a lighter, more open stance than a solid-base design. Wipe the surface down with a soft, dry cloth to keep the matte finish looking fresh.
