Onyx breaks from Triad and Trove’s gloss white with a single, striking gloss-black finish. Where the other two pieces build their base from three rings, Onyx commits to one substantial oval curve, giving it a bolder, more graphic presence against a pale entryway or hallway wall.

One Ring, One Onyx Server Table

A single unbroken oval ring supports the full length of Onyx’s rectangular top, running from a wide base plate up to the underside of the slab. With no seams and no secondary legs, the ring carries the entire visual and structural weight of the piece. The result is a silhouette that reads as one continuous line from any angle.

A Single Curve, Full Commitment

Most console tables split their support across two or more legs. Onyx doesn’t. Centring the whole base on one oval form takes more confidence in the joinery, since there’s nowhere for the eye to rest but the curve itself. It’s a quieter, more architectural statement than a multi-ring design, built for a room that wants one bold gesture rather than several smaller ones.

High-Gloss Finish, Hand-Finished

Onyx is finished in a deep, high-gloss black lacquer, built up in multiple coats and hand-finished for a mirror-smooth surface across the curve and the top slab. Each piece is made to order, so the finish is checked and polished individually rather than mass-produced. The dark gloss reflects light sharply, giving the piece a different character in daylight versus lamplight.

Living With Onyx

At an estimated 150cm wide, 30cm deep, and 75cm tall, Onyx suits a long entryway wall or a statement spot behind a sofa (final dimensions confirmed at order stage). Wipe the gloss surface down with a soft, dry cloth; black gloss shows dust and fingerprints more readily than lighter finishes, so a microfibre cloth kept nearby helps maintain the shine. Avoid abrasive cleaners, and keep the piece out of direct sun to prevent the finish fading unevenly over time.
