Float takes its name from the way the top sits above its base. A wide, rectangular top in high-gloss white lacquer appears to hover over a lower pedestal platform, with an open gap running beneath it that lightens the whole piece visually despite its generous footprint.

A Fluted Panel, A Quiet Detail

Set into the front face of the upper body is a vertical fluted panel, a textured break in an otherwise smooth gloss surface. It catches the light differently to the rest of the piece, giving Float a quiet detail to notice up close without disrupting the clean lines from across the room.

High-Gloss White, Hand-Finished

Every surface is finished in multiple coats of high-gloss white lacquer, polished by hand to a smooth, reflective finish. The pedestal base repeats the same finish, keeping the whole piece visually seamless from the tabletop down to the floor.

Built to Last

Float is built on a solid engineered-wood frame, constructed to support a wide tabletop on a narrower pedestal base without compromising stability. The lacquer finish resists everyday knocks, spills, and fading, keeping the gloss looking fresh for years of daily use.

Living With Float

At 130cm long, 70cm wide, and 40cm tall, Float suits a full sectional or a pair of sofas, with enough surface for drinks, books, and everyday décor. Wipe the lacquer down with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the gloss finish over time.
